Anne Maree - thank you for writing such a well-researched, accessible guide to navigating student's emotions. I found this a compassionate and practical read, packed with strategies to keep in my teaching toolkit for my students with trauma, disabilities, and those who find the classroom overwhelming.

My name is Lisa Weier and I am the Teaching and Learning Coordinator for the South Dakota Education Association; a state affiliate of the National Education Association in the United States. My job is to provide both in-person and asynchronous professional development for members across our state. I came across your book when researching dysregulation in the classroom. I have been tasked with putting together a tool kit to help educators manage behaviors and the health and safety of those in the classroom.

I have to tell you that I loved your book! Your catchy chapter titles were spot on and even though we are in different countries, children are universal in their behaviors. The research and strategies were presented in such a way that was easy to read, understand, and implement in the classroom. I have developed a book study for our members and am looking forward to hearing their thoughts and how they will be applying strategies from your book.

I hope you find much success and I will continue to let my counterparts across the United States know about your book!
